Aaron Patten is a licensed Investment Advisor Representative with over eight years of experience in the financial services industry. Specializing in financial and retirement planning, Aaron focuses on fixed solutions through life insurance and annuities. His role in working with financial advisors across the country teaching them how insurance products fit in the holistic approach to financial planning provided valuable insights to the financial advising world. His unique career path gives him a distinct advantage in understanding the holistic financial picture, allowing him to create comprehensive financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.

Aaron’s Approach

Aaron believes in the power of education. “I see myself as more of an educator,” he says. “I am passionate about educating my clients on solutions that lead to better outcomes. My role as an Advisor is to look at the entire financial picture, understand each client’s goals and objectives, and provide unbiased, accurate, and clear solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.”

Personal Interests

A dedicated sports fan, Aaron loves college football and basketball. Growing up in Ohio, he is an avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. In his free time, Aaron enjoys golfing, playing softball, and spending time on the lake during the summer. He values family time, attending his niece and nephews’ sporting events, networking, and spending weekends in Chicago. Aaron is also an active member of Calvary Church in Valparaiso, where he serves on the parking team.

Background and Education

Aaron has been a resident of Valparaiso since 1999, after relocating from East Liverpool, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics from Saint Joseph’s College, where he also played football as a kicker and punter for the Pumas.
